AI Notes for Recruiters

How to Summarize Offer Negotiations

Recruiters play a crucial role in bridging the gap between employers and candidates. During offer negotiations, it's important to capture detailed notes on candidate expectations and employer offerings. Good note-taking helps ensure clarity and consistency in communication and assists in making informed decisions. Documenting these conversations aids in transparency with stakeholders involved in the hiring process.

But what should you include in your meeting notes? We have compiled a list of key points to include in your meeting notes.

Key points to include in meeting notes for recruiters

  • Meeting Participants: Who were the key participants in the offer negotiation call, and what are their roles?
  • Offer Details: What were the initial terms of the job offer discussed, including salary, benefits, and start date?
